Goodbye my friend…

Just had to get a sneaky Spice Girls reference in there! Ok, so as the New Year begins I’ve had to take stock of all my commitments and as university and work get busier and my family need me more, I’ve had to make some tough decisions. (I know it all sounds so dramatic! LOL)
Those of you who have been reading for a while know that I am the very proud founder and organiser of a plus size fashion event called Plus North. Organising such an event takes up an incredible amount of time, effort and commitment. The event has been one of my proudest achievements and the feedback from attendees and brands makes my heart sing.

So it is with great sadness that I am going to have to step away from the event. I have handed everything over to co-organiser Toni and I’m sure, if she decides to continue with it, will do an amazing job.
I’d like to take a moment to thank everyone who took the time to attend, help, exhibit and sponsor. It’s been fricking awesome!!

Good luck with all your commitments this year, it sounds full on. I just have to let you know that Plus North was one of my highlights of 2013 and I really appreciate all the work you and Toni put into it, thanks so much.

I'm actually in tears at this news. I completely understand WHY, and the like, but I am still reeling from the thought that Plus North won't be the same without you.

But, as Betty says, you need to know when to leave. Love you Mrs Be xxxxx

I'm not sure what to say, it's sad that you have to step away from something which both you and Toni lovingly created but at least you realised your limitations before you took on more. Like the others have said you did an excellent job on both Plus North events and I enjoyed both so much and I'm grateful for that. Onwards and Upwards Mrs B and I wish you Good Luck with everything you do xx
