Summer Romance…

We all know I have a bit of a reputation for being a tomboy, I like nothing more than a pair of jeans and my converse. But I do, now and then like to get my femme on and mix things up!

Look, I even tried to get all arty with my pics…

I was sent this beautiful 40s style wrap dress from Scarlett and Jo. The first raft of the new Summer Romance collection has just hit Evans, with more pieces to follow in the next few weeks. And I think it’s my favourite collection so far. I never really got into the whole power fit dress craze, it’s just not the kind of dress that fits in with my life, but these new pieces are a bit more versatile and have a retro vibe about them which although I don’t fully embrace nowadays I still like to dip back into now and then.

I wore: Plus size wrap dress – Scarlett and Jo// Orange Wedges – Clarks// Crazy hair – all me

The dress is a beautiful heavy jersey, really soft to the touch. I’m wearing the 22 which is true to size.  The bust area is a wrap so those of you with a large bust might want to pop a modesty vest under (or not ;)) The length is a perfect midi, not just below the knee but an actual midi. The waist tie goes round twice and ties in the front which I thought was a nice touch.
A close up of the colours and the SHOEEEEES

Bewbs.
Just a reminder and this way I get to say it again…. I’m going on holiday this week, so I will try and schedule some posts, but if not, just take it as a given that I’m sat on a sun lounger sipping cocktails in my fatkini being fabulous (I’ll actually be running round after a 4 year old playing frisbee in the pool, but hey, who am I to crush your illusions?)
