I love dresses, I think they’re beautiful. I buy them with the best of intentions. But I wear them once and feel a bit awkward then they hang in my wardrobe, gathering dust.
I bought this cute jersey dress from New Look for my holiday, I loved the palm tree design. I did get a fair amount of wear out of it on holiday, but when I got back it felt a bit too short for old blighty. I was desperate to wear it, so I threw caution the the wind and took a pair of scissors to it!
Et Voila! Not bad right? Because it’s jersey I just left it with a raw edge, but if you’re handy with a sewing machine you could easily hem it. I’m just please I’ll get more use out of it!
