Hello! I bought this pinafore from ASOS as soon as it came out about 2 months ago, so desperate to get my hands on it… And you know what? This is the first time I’ve worn it!! What was that all about?
Have you ever done that? Wanted something so badly, but then when it arrives haven’t bothered wearing it?
I’m still not 100% sure I like it on. It’s cute, but is a little too cute for my personal style? What do you guys think?
Things I love about this dress? The tartan pattern and the brushed cotton feel to the fabric. Things I don’t love? The button fasting to the back, god forbid you’re single or don’t happen to have anyone around in the morning because you will not be able to do this up on your own!! I mean really?
I did find it true to size though, I’m wearing the 22 and it’s just right. The dress is currently on sale at £29.00 rather than the £42.00 I paid for it. So if you do like it, grab yourself a bargain!
Despite the fastening problem, I do like the dress, but I’m still on the fence as to whether it’s my style or not……

I love it, I returned mine because the fit was off for my body, but I think you love fantastic in it. Plus I don't always someone around to do up my dresses as you say! The way you've styled it, maybe with a leather jacket over the top is gorgeous, it brings a little edge back.
I often get obsessed with an item and by the time it arrives I don't even wear it, a terrible habit, I know, but I think its indicative of how fast fashion is nowadays.
I think you should try trading out the black top for white, adding a wide black belt, maybe trade the black leggings for gray, red, or white; switching to knee high black boots; adding a Jean or black jacket, and some hoop earrings and maybe it will feel more like you.
I like it beebs. With one of your necklaces at the collar it'd really finish it off. looks good with the boots as well. x x x
This would look great with a leather biker jacket. I need those boots – damn simply be for selling out!
