Plus Size Beach Looks with Taking Shape

**This post contains gifted from Taking Shape items**

It might not be the far away shores of Greece of Barbados. But with the prospect of travelling abroad seeming less and less this year, there’s a lot to be said for the coastline of the UK.

I’m incredibly lucky to live 10 minutes from the beach, so when Taking Shape sent me these boho beach inspired tops, I knew a jaunt to the seaside was in order to capture them perfectly. And even though it was overcast I still felt like a dreamy boho goddess.

Who are Taking Shape?

If you’re not familiar with Taking Shape, here’s the low down. An Australian brand established in 1985 and they launched in the UK in 2013. Taking Shape’s style is laid back but bold, with stunning prints, relaxed shapes and quality fabrics. Available in sizes 12-24 they pride themselves on their fit and design.

Totally Fit

No I’m not referring to me, but you know, I’m not bad! But seriously the fit on these tops is great. I went with the 24 (I’m normally a 22/24) and they are more than generous. Obviously the style is quite loose and boho, so the cut itself is flowy (yes that’s a word). But I really could have worn a 20 or 22. They are the perfect kind of tops to throw on with jeans, or jean shorts, grab your flip flops and head to beach. You can imagine in better weather that these are going to be great over your bikini or swimming costume. They’re lightweight, quick drying and don’t really crease.

Quick Wins

As a mum, there’s nothing I like more than ‘quick wins’. That’s the kind of clothes you can just throw on and look fabulous in with minimal effort. And from the pieces I’ve been sent from Taking Shape; that’s exactly what you’re going to get – Effortless, laid back style.
