Food | Family Takeaway Night with Foodhub

[Post features gifted experience]

Now, more than ever we’re indulging in home dining experiences. I know that as a family we’re still a little weary of venturing out to restaurants so ordering a takeaway has been an extra special treat for us. I’ve recently started using Foodhub instead of my usual takeaway app, so it was rather fortuitous when they got in touch and asked me to collaborate with them.

I’ve got a little story actually. Just before we moved, we ordered from our usual pizza place and when they delivered our meal, they handed us a leaflet and asked in future, could we order via Foodhub. Having a quick chat with Scott we surmised they probably charged less commission to the takeaway, so we downloaded the app and have been using it ever since.

As it turns out, when Foodhub did get in touch, we found out that they didn’t charge any commission at all to the takeaways (other brands charge up to 15%!!) which means you’re supporting local business and hopefully those savings are passed onto you the customer too. Which I think is fab, and I like it when everyone is happy!

Anyway, I digress! Ordering for a family of four with different tastes can be a bit tricky, so we tried to go for a selection of dishes. That way, everyone could dib in and try a bit of everything. And because we’re not eating out at the moment, we set the table up with the bowls of food. Everyone had a place setting. (We went for a Chinese, chopsticks were of course, standard!)

I’ve found the Foodhub app really easy to use, there’s lots of choice on there, even in little old Grimsby. And happy days, Foodhub have kindly given me a discount code to share with you too.
