It’s a rare and wondrous event when a beauty post appears on the blog, it’s even better when it comes with a discount code! Which neatly brings me round to the purpose of today’s post! Being the beauty novice that I am, it took me a little while to figure out what I wanted, so firstly I played it safe with OPI, a brand I’m familiar with and trust. I’ve been a huge fan of their nail polish for years and when I wasn’t addicted to acrylics, I used their nail envy religiously.
I guess really the same goes for Max Factor, I’ve used the bronzer for years, but I’m massively weary when it comes to lip products, I’m not a big fan of any lipstick/gloss etc, but I loved the natural shade of this lipfinity kit and was interested to see if it actually stood up to its 24hr claim… well lads, I had to use a toothbrush to scrub this bad boy off so it’s definitely got staying power!! Yikes! To be completely honest, I’m still not over convinced on the lip front, but that’s just a personal thing.
Finally, I went for the mineral makeover powder, the likes of which I’ve been dying to try for years. I don’t like a lot of coverage on my face, so I’m really interested to see how this goes. I haven’t tried it yet as I’ve got a bit of tan so I tend to just wear a blusher or bronzer. But when the tan starts to fade I can’t wait to try this bad boy.
