Hello! Today I’ve got a corker from Live Unlimited, one of my faves as you know. If you’re not familiar with the brand, they mix luxe fabrics with bold prints and plus size wardrobe staples. The quality is always outstanding with a mid-price range.
Today’s piece is this mega versatile striped shirt dress. I love the split detail to the sleeve and the contrast pockets. I’m wearing the size 24 which fits great, I always tend to size up to a 24 when I’m wearing a woven piece with no stretch because I like to have that extra room.
As you can see there’s a tiny bit of gapage (that’s totally a word) on the bust, I don’t actually think it would be noticeable on any other button-up but because of the vertical lines is a bit more obvious. I think a stitch to the bust would probably do the trick, or if you’re especially fuller busted, you might want to wear it open with a cami underneath or if you’re feeling flirty, pop a sexy harness bra under!
It took all my will power to wear this without jeans, but I did it gang!! A miracle! But obviously this is going to go with jeans, leggings, tights or bare-legged. Add a pair of side strip sports pants and trainers for a luxe sports look.
I love clashing my prints, and stripes and leopard print is one of my favourite combos (I feel like I may have written that many times, when you’ve blogging as long as I have it happens!). Over all I love this dress, just watch out in terms of boob room, and be super gentle when you’re ironing it, it is very delicate and I am not, therefore I nearly ended up with a very different outfit on!
