Well it’s not exactly swimwear weather up north at the moment! But I am headed to Portugal next week, so I’ll be taking this beauty with with! Debenhams ‘Gorgeous’ range designed especially for DD+ cups offers the perfect amount of support for those who wear a larger cup whilst featuring the latest prints and shapes in swimwear. I’m wearing the Yellow Palm Print Costume.
I think what stuck me first about the range before this beauty even showed up at my door was the range of print, so bright and on trend, which is something you don’t often see in larger cup swimwear. Sadly it can be a bit old fashioned, but this is most definitely not!
I love this tropical style print, the vibrant lime and monochrome is so cool!
With this range being built especially for a bigger bust the support and shape it gives you is outstanding, I was really pleased with the lift it gave me. I think my only quibble is, being at the top end of the size range in terms of my dress size, it was a bit of a struggle to get into. I think though, if you’re used to shapewear you’ll find this a doddle, and although I think (I hope) I don’t look like a stuff sausage, it was very snug!
Because of the snugness is does help with the tummy area, and if it’s something you’re conscious of, this does have built in tummy control. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a miracle worker, I still very much have a noticeable tummy, but it helps smooth it a bit.
The bra section is underwired for extra support and the straps are detachable if you want to avoid pesky tan lines! The quality is fabulous, it’s a good substantial swimsuit, so hopefully there’ll be no cases of escaped puppies, haha!
