Style: Blogger Challenge with Bonmarche.

So aside from the capsule wardrobe challenge, it’s also business as usual, so today I’ve got something a little bit different. I was recently contacted by Bonmarche to see if I’d like to take part in a blogger challenge.
This one was really exciting (and a little daunting) as I was paired up with the lovely Amii at Scarlet Pout. When it came to choosing an outfit for Amii I was a little nervous because she has such an alternative style, but I hope whatever I chose she would be able to style up in her own way. You can see what I chose for her here.
When it came to Amii’s choices for me, I was excited to see the blue of the jacket, one of my favourite colours and I love polka dots too.

I’ll be honest the outfit is very grown up and formal for what I’m used to, but if I still worked in an office it would be something I would definitely wear. I think if I swapped out the skirt for a pair of high waist peg legs we’d be a bit closer to signature Beebs style. But having said that it’s always nice to try out alternative styles and I know a lot of you guys are looking for work wear, and separates likes these are a great option.

The quality of the pieces was beautiful and I especially liked the waffle material on the jacket which seems to be everywhere at the moment. The layered pencil skirt was really pretty and I think teamed with a silky cami and strappy sandals would make a gorgeous evening outfit. I’m wearing the size 22 in all items and they fitted perfectly! Bonmarche’s sizing ranges from 10-24 so there’s lots of choice!

Thank you to Amii for styling me too! You did a great job of turning this casual girl into a Melanie Griffiths, Working Girl power bitch for the day!

What a fun challenge, the blue looks awesome on you, I can really see it working with your faithful Junarose jeans xx
