OOTD: Off Duty - Becky Barnes

I’ve had quite a few dressy posts this week. You know this unnerves me a bit, I’m never more happy or comfortable when I’m dressing down and chilling out. This weekend I headed into the town centre to meet my mum, and take Poppy for a haircut so it gave me the perfect opportunity to wear my new New Look checked joggers.

I love garments that kind of elude to being formal, but on closer inspection are quite casual. The print on the joggers is a tweed, plaid kind of affair, something you might find in suits or office wear, yet, when you look closer, they are jersey joggers!

I just wore a basic black jersey top and biker jacket, which was another New Look gem. Pointy ASOS shoes and black handbag. Simple, casual, understated. I bought these joggers nearly a month ago now, I don’t know why it took me so long to wear them. I guess it’s been snowy and they’d probably look silly with boots! Well boots you can tackle snow in at least!

I feel like I’ve lacked colour this past month or so, I think once the weather picks up I’ll find myself more inclined to brighten up my wardrobe again. Fingers crossed we’re headed to more crisp fresh days now instead of snow and rain!!

I'm loving this whole look! Those joggers are pretty rad and I love them paired with the jacket, gold chain and shoes!!
