Style: Wingz Review

For as long as I’ve been blogging, I’ve been aware of the brand Wingz. I’ve always been intrigued by them, but as someone who tends to buy long-sleeved for the Winter and don’t care about getting my arms out in Summer, I never really had the need for a pair.
It wasn’t until I got to uni that I realised how much they would come in handy. It is hotter than the sun in my uni building, yet, in the deaths of winter the last thing I want to do is wear anything short-sleeved. I mean I need the lightweight fabric so I don’t boil, but a lot of my lightweight stuff tends to be short sleeved. So this is where Wingz came to the rescue for me.

I bought this sleeveless maxi in the sale from Very for the summer and I was desperate to wear it, the Wingz were perfect for making it more winter appropriate. I’m wearing the black, full length, fitted stretch Wingz in a size 2 (18-22). I found them to be really comfortable and versatile. I’ve worn them several times this week under dresses and short sleeved tops and even wore them to travel down to London in, where they were perfectly comfortable and kept my arms nice and warm.

As you can see the Wingz go on like a t-shirt but the elasticated section sits under your bust so that you can wear a host of different necklines. They are perfect for under dresses, vests and sleeveless tops. They come in a huge variety of styles and designs, you can see them all on the Wingz website. If you’re not comfortable showing off your upper arms, or just want to combat the chill without wearing a hundred layers, I can highly recommend this clever product!

**I was sent this item for the purposes of review. My opinions and words are 100% mine though, just the way I like ’em**

What a fun concept! I've never seen these before.

Bebes, you look great, I love the way that the wingz have winterized that maxi, looks fabulous and totally suitable for this time of year.

I have a number of long sleeved thin, plain t-shirts which I wear under my sleeveless dresses, but I can see that the wings are better because there are no clashing necklines. I will probably get myself a set at some point.
