Style: Summer to Winter…

Over the summer I was asked to take part in a summer shapewear challenge with Daxon, sadly it got a little bit held up, but I finally managed to get my hands on the dress and shapewear earlier this month. Yesterday I headed out to get some fresh air and have a walk round the boating lake where I live so I popped the dress on and grabbed some pics.

Thankfully the style of dress means it can be adapted to most climates, and I think it was probably more autumnal than summer really. The tile print is really pretty and the dark turquoise is a great colour to wear all year round. The Print Voile dress is available on the site now and in sizes 10-30 (which most of their range is, with some items going up to a 36).
You can see from the pic on the website the attention to detail like the PU trim on the pockets and the sheer sleeves make this dress that bit more special. There is a zip fastening to the back but I just popped it on over my head with ease. I found it true to size and as you can see on me (5’7″) it sits just above the knee and a good few inches longer than on the model.

With this style of dress I think the shapewear was a bit unnecessary but a far as shapewear goes, it was quite comfortable (lets face it shape wear is never actually comfortable as such), and under a more fitted dress it would certainly smooth your tummy area and lift your bum a bit. I chose it mainly because you can wear your own bra with it, therefore no squished boobs!
