I seem to have somewhat rekindled my love affair with black. I always seem to gravitate to chic black outfits in the summer for some bizarre reason. Maybe it’s because I like to wear colour in the winter to brighten the days? Or maybe I just bloody love a simple, striking all black outfit now and then.
So why blog it? Most people own black trousers and a black vest. I’m absolutely confident you’re all capable of combining those two items all by yourselves. Well, I guess it was one of those super feel good days that I wanted to share. When an outfit comes together, and you feel positively spanking! It was a chip up, tits out kinda day!
The trousers were from New Look Inspire. I can’t see them in stock anymore, but on the whole I tend to find their trousers and jeans a really good fit and true to size. The vest is a variation of one I’ve blogged before. For the last two summers I have bought these thin, lightweight vests from H&M in varying colours. I love that they’re a bit see-through, so I can be a racy if I want or I can wear something fun underneath and layer them up. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they are just £3.99 and go up to a 22-24, very generously sized, with a gentle flair and cute racer back.
Obviously with such a simple outfit I and to add some glam with my accessories. The necklace of dreams, and my Vivienne Westwood Melissa’s added a bit of a rock chick feel.

Eeek thanks love. Make up was a very simple lick of eyeliner, mascara and bronzer. I don't really "do" make up, I'm too lazy! lol x x
