You might recall I went to Oxford last month to do some fit model work for plus size activewear brand State of Mind. I’ve got a few pieces from the activewear range but I haven’t had chance to try out the swimwear range yet, so when Kerensa sent me home with a few pieces, I was mega excited!
First up is the Va-Va Voom, and boy does it live up to its name! It’s a simple black one piece but it has a tie section to the bust area that means you can adjust the cleavage exposure. I, of course, tied it as far down as I could! I teamed it with the Skinny Dipper cover up which amazingly can be worn in the water too if you prefer more coverage.
The second set I tried was the Spotty Chick top and Skirting the Issue swim skirt. This set is a little more girly than I would usually go for but I really wanted to try something outside my comfort zone, and I’m glad I did. It’s so cute and flirty.
There is a built in short to the skirt for modesty. The top has a standard shelf bra with a small amount of padding to the sides. As always with State of Mind I was impressed with the quality of fabric and attention to detail. I can’t wait to rock these on holiday!!
