I know. I’ve milked this a little bit haven’t I?! Well yes, the birthday celebrations, as per usual, were spread across a good week! The Saturday prior to my Birthday I hit the town with my lovely friends from uni, Kimberley and Marticca.
I wore my December choice from AX Paris. I think it’s fair to say this is my most favourite piece from AX Paris to date. I just love it. Simple, chic, with cute detailing.
The lace detailing to the collar and cuffs is so beautiful. At the moment there’s only size 20s left on the site, so I took a chance in the hope it would be stretchy and it was, hoorah! It is however, very short. There was much strategic crouching and little bending going on throughout the night (although let’s be fair, I was very drunk, this probably wasn’t the case. The whole of Cleethorpes were quite possibly treated to the view of my arse all night). I’m sure this could have been solved with the simple addition of leggings though!
The dress is a thick, stretch jersey with a zip at the back. As mentioned it is short, and quite fitted but I am in a size smaller than I normally take, so I’d say it’s true to size.
