With autumn well and truly here, I was really excited to see all the new AW arriving on the AX Paris site. I was drawn straight away to this dress, PU detailing is still huge this season and the sleeve detail makes this little black dress just that little bit different!
I added a my super bright yellow necklace. I’m not quite ready to let go of neons yet, I love that massive splash of colour they add to outfits.
I usually take a 22(UK) in AX Paris but looking at the fabric and cut of this dress on the website I decided to go for a 24 and I was right to do so. There is no stretch and the shape of the dress means there is no room for manoeuvre for a hip heavy chick like me, so in sizing up I get the level of comfort and movement I need.
The dress is a heavy cotton, I’m not sure if you’d call it a crepe? (forgive my lack of knowledge) it has a zip fastening to the back and the PU sleeves have some stretch to them which is great for stretching and, like dancing and stuff! Ha ha! I absolutely love this dress, its pretty sexy and you know I love a sexy dress!
