Style: Winter Footwear with Jones Bootmaker

As the cold weather really takes hold, I have to admit defeat and stop wearing my mules to work. They are neither practical nor conducive to wet and cold weather! Therefore, I am always on the look out for practical yet stylish footwear, especially for days when I’m working with clients in an office environment. Jones Bootmaker is a name and a brand that I have worked with in the past and have always associated with quality, and quite rightly so.

I was invited to choose a pair of shoes from their newest collection and despite my deep rooted yearnings, I was able to avoid the leopard print options settling for these classic beauties instead.
A slip on style is one of those shoes that everyone should own. They’re great with dresses and tights, trousers and even with jeans for a casual look. What I love about these Jones Bootmaker loafer style shoes is the little faux fur charm detail. It just takes them to the next level. Classic with an edge.

As you can see, I’ve teamed them with a jumpsuit and cardigan for a relaxed work look. Fit-wise I would say these aren’t suitable for a wide foot, and for me personally I know they’re going to need a bit of breaking in. But that is the beauty of investing in great quality, leather shoes. You have the luxury of breaking them in and moulding them to your shape.
If it is wide-fit you are after though, there is a selection on the website as well as some styles that go up to a size 9. As always I know not everyone’s budget can reach to these sort of prices, but with Black Friday coming up and various seasonal sales, I say hang on for a bargain!
