Sun’s out, milk bottle’s out! I’m thinking, I definitely need to get another spray tan, but unfortunately, in the mean time, I’m going to inflict my milk bottle legs on you anyway in the form of this knockout dress from Studio8.

If you’re not familiar with the brand, they are the plus size sister of Phase Eight, so we’re talking occasion dresses, smart casual outfits and elegant, classic styles – premium quality with attention to detail.

The Alice dress is a gingham wonder, it’s classic, but modern. The oversized print makes it mega striking, whereas the wrap, fit and flare shape gives it a retro edge.

This is your go to occasion dress, weddings, christenings, races, garden parties. All of which I never get invited to, but I’m holding out hope that one day this will happen!!

I’m wearing the size 22, it’s true to size and fits like a glove. The fabric is a mid-weight cotton, without stretch and the quality is outstanding. The price point is as you’d expect from this kind of brand, but you get what you pay for, exceptional quality, fit and design. It’s going to be an investment piece for most people, but what an investment!
