Hello! So those of you who watch my Instagram stories will know I promised to bring you plus size pyjamas and that my friends is what I’m doing! Simply Be very kindly got in touch and told me I deserved a treat, well who am I to argue?
So the set I went for is a little more grown up than my usual PJ selection. You can usually find me in something ridiculous with cartoon characters on or rockets and donuts. But I thought it would make a really nice change to go for something a little more classy!
This Pretty Secrets set is made up of 3/4 sleeve PJs and this gorgeous full length dressing gown. The PJs are a lovely navy with matching leopard print trim, they’re a lightweight, stretchy jersey, really lovely and wearable. I went for the 20/22 in the PJs as I didn’t want them to fall down and the fit was great! I sized up in the dressing gown though (24/26) as I wanted that to be a bit more roomy. Again, it was spot on. Layered up, this is great for Autumn/Winter but it’s thin and light enough to be worn in the summer as separates. And not to be a complete depressive, but should you find yourself in hospital this would be a great set for comfort and you know how hot it gets in those places!
As part of my lovely treat, I was also able to chose something from the beauty section too. I went with this Elemis oil because I very rarely treat myself beauty-wise and having had the pleasure of visiting an Elemis press day earlier in the year, the beautiful products really stayed with me and I prmised myself I would treat myself one day. This frangipani smells so delicious, don’t worry though kids I didn’t eat it, I do have a modicum of self control.
