Style: Transitional Triumphs

Well, up here in glorious Lincolnshire the weather has taken a slight turn for the worse and although it’s still relatively warm, it’s a bit windy and wet, so I’ve been having to find outfits that I’m not going to boil to death in, but that are going to offer coverage.
And to the rescue come the old kimonos and boots.

This is my 70s prog rock groupie look haha! The kimono is from H&M it is from the accessories section and is basically just a big scarf. It’s free size so will work for most folk and is great for layering over dresses and jumpsuits too. I’m wearing it with a plain black cami and ripped jeans.
Mine are from Yours Clothing and they are the only ones I’ve found that work for me, I tried the Evans ones and ASOS ones that everyone raves about but they just don’t sit right on me. Even these ones aren’t perfect if I’m honest, but they are better than any others I’ve found.

The boots are just Michael Hutchence, Mick Jagger sexiness. They speak to my very well hidden rock star, which in all fairness I am definitely not cool enough to pull off, but screw it.
They are from JustFab, who are one of those online subscription service stores. You have to sign up to the site, and they have an amazing selection BUT you do need to remember to opt out every month other they will automatically charge you. But as long as you do that, it’s a really cool place to pick up ace shoes and bags.

All props to Pops again for being my little photographer superstar! I’ve got some great stuff coming up on the blog soon, I can’t wait to share them with you! It’s good to be back gang Xx
